Just DON’T pick Brunelleschi’s dome. Worst book ever. Michelangelo and the Pope’s Ceiling wasn’t much better. I would actually choose between A world only lit by fire, Longitude, and Machiavelli. Machiavelli if your interested in war strategies, A world only lit by fire if you like the middle ages, and Longitude if your interested in navigation and the exploration of the sea.
