Awards claims final notifications?
Hi we rec a letter from El gordo Loteria Primitiva that would like us to claim our winnings, i think this is a scam they want 10% of the winnings returned to the claims agent after deposit. They provided all a name and phone numbers to Santa Lucia security company S.A. They provided the drawing date of Nov 07 2006 and listed winning numbers as 13-15-16-21-34-36 and stated that the amount was 10,468,770.00 to be sharded with 17 winners. Is there any way to check this out to be sure if it is a scam or not. Sounds too good.Thanks for your help.
The applicable rule here is that, “If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.”
Haven’t you wondered how you won a lottery that you never entered?
It’s a scam. After you give them back a portion of the money, the check bounces.
They likely get your account number and you get a whole bunch of trouble.
